Sometimes we forget that we are much more than body, mind and soul. There are eight dimensions in the human being that make him who he is: physical, emotional, cognitive, communicative, social, aesthetic, ethical, moral and spiritual. They are all connected, and to broaden our awareness of who we are and grow as people, we need to recognize and work on each of them.
It is all that is related to our physical body. Through it we can identify the situations, things or people that have influenced our perception of our body throughout our lives.
It focuses on all those emotions that live within us. Those that we can express and those that we cannot, those that we enjoy and those that cost us more work. This dimension helps us to accept, understand and learn from every emotion we experience.
Through this dimension we manage to give meaning to our lives. It is what helps us understand, reflect and explain certain situations we experience and the impact they have on our present.
This dimension encompasses everything related to our ability to communicate with ourselves and with others. From the different ways we use to express what we feel and think, to our ability to understand and listen to others.
This dimension encompasses everything related to our ability to express and transmit what we think, feel and desire with ourselves and with others. From the different ways we use to express what we feel and think, to our ability to understand and listen to others.
The social dimension encompasses everything that our interpersonal relationships are. The important role that other people have played throughout our lives, and the influence they have had on us.
This dimension deals with the way we perceive, experience and feel everything around us. It is that capacity for wonder that allows us to recognize beauty in everyday life; in the details and in the most significant moments.
Through it we can recognize and identify our principles and values. They are the roots of our decisions, and what helps us to take the right path by being true to ourselves.
This dimension encompasses the depths of our person, because through it we manage to give meaning to our lives, to live in peace, and to be in the present moment. Spirituality can be experienced in different ways, and it is our responsibility to discover and decide the way we want to live it.
